Unity Advanced Insights: DC Voltage Deviation Flag Calculation

Last Modified on 2025-11-05 17:27:46 +0100

In this article:

Introduction

This calculation flags periods when the actual DC voltage exceeds the expected value, which may indicate reduced AC capacity. The resulting flag serves as an input to the reduced AC capacity smart event.

Importance: Used to identify when an inverter is forcing its array to operate away from its Maximum Power Point (MPP), which can signal reduced AC capacity.

Schedule: Runs once overnight for all inverters on a given site.

Relevant sites: PV sites.

Historical data needed: Same-day data.
